Narrative Magazine Fall 2014 Story Contest

Narrative magazine seeks submissions for its Fall 2014 story contest. The contest is open to previously unpublished fiction and nonfiction entries up to 15,000 words.

Prizes: First place, $2500; second place, $1000; third place, $500.00; and ten finalists will receive $100 each. All entries will be considered for publication.

Reading fee: $22 per submission.

A perennial favorite for 31 years, this competition for emerging writers is open to original, unpublished short fiction up to 3500 words. Ms. Hemingway, granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway, is the competition’s final judge.
