The Polls Are Open: Week #3 Writing Exercise Competition

The time is once again upon us to begin voting for this week’s Writing Exercise extravaganza. On behalf of the IU staff, I want to thank all the entrants for doing such a great job with the writing prompt and the merciless constraints of the exercise.

Review the entries HERE, and vote for your fave in the poll below.

Voting will close at 5 pm mountain time on Thursday January 19, 2012. The recipient with the most votes wins a feature post and publication at year end.

Select the entrant with the best story for the IU writing exercise competition, "Insomnia."

  1. I accidently took the pole for the second time this week, rectally while trapped in my bull dozer underwater no less. My shrink is currently on vacation and I am concerned about my health. Do the advanced minds of 'I.U.' have any advise for me?

    1. Yes. First and foremost – Taking the pole is different that taking the poll. At least that's what I've heard. Anyway, good luck with that. 😛

    1. FIFY – My mistake, Linda – the times are military times so I messed up. Everything should be working now. 🙂 Thanks for letting me know!

      1. After all those nervous breakdowns, all that banging of heads on desks, not to mention the disconbooberation that went on, you mess up the TIME? Maybe I don't win, but I sure as heck wanna be able to vote! LOL
