The YOUR BOOK HERE Contest

Featuring your book on Indies UnlimitedWould you like to see your own book featured prominently on Indies Unlimited? Of course you would. Who wouldn’t?

Maybe you’re not rolling around in loose change from under the couch cushions and can’t come up with the $15 it costs for a featured book spot.

Here is the good news: You could win a FEATURED BOOK PROMO right here on Indies Unlimited! That’s right, a feature that is normally available only to those lucky few with the kind of walking around money that can buy a bucket of chicken at KFC could be yours for free!

The internet is where it’s happening these days, and Indies Unlimited is one of the hottest spots out there. Why, if your book hasn’t been featured here, people might wonder if you even have a book. We feel ya! That’s why we’re giving away one coveted Featured Book Promo (like this one) to one lucky IU reader. Here’s all you have to do to enter:

REQUIRED ENTRY: post in the comments section below one brief sentence telling why you love Indies Unlimited. Make sure to include a link to the book you want to have featured if you win the giveaway! (We still need to make sure it fits IU criteria!)

Additional Entry: Subscribe to Indies Unlimited, then post in the comments that you’ve subscribed. (You can subscribe here. Your subscription must be confirmed to be considered.)

Additional Entry: “Like” us on Facebook here, then come on back and post in the comments that you’ve done so.

Additional Entry: “Follow” us on Twitter here, then come on back and post in the comments that you’ve done so.

This way, you have FOUR – can you believe? – four chances to win that awesome ad spot! If you already like, follow, or are subscribed to us, that’s okay – just let us know in the comments below and that counts as an entry.

Fine print/contest rules: you have until 5 p.m. Pacific time on Sunday, November 17, 2013 to get your entries posted in the comments below. Staff members/minions of Indies Unlimited are not eligible to enter. Books must fit the Indies Unlimited criteria as posted all over the damn site (no erotica, politics, or religious books, etc., etc.). Limit four entries per contestant. Contestants must have reached puberty to be considered. Void in states, countries, and anywhere else this is prohibited. Drawing will be done by the high-tech method of putting names in a container and pulling one out, so the more entries the better. Don’t annoy us by asking dumb questions, or your entries could be lost – by accident of course. Did we mention void where prohibited? Make sure to be nice and thank us for this awesome opportunity. We work for free, you know.

  1. I have been a fan of Indies Unlimited for over a year now – you all helped me with my book promotion, and I your posts are now a part of my daily ritual. I have liked you on FB & Twitter, and been subscribed for a long time now. Here is my link for Ruby Lake, thanks for doing this and I selfishly hope I win! http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0054YF89A

  2. 3rd entry: I have “liked” your FB page. Have a great day!

Sorry, don’t use Twitter so won’t be following you there.

  3. I love the endless variety of posts, and the helpful attitude that seems to permeate this site. Also, I’ve followed you on Twitter (MPetersDesires), liked you on Facebook (Morgann Peters) and subscribed to your newsletter. 🙂 Best of luck to all who enter, and congratulations in advance to the lucky winner!

Since MY book is considered erotica (though it does not have an erotic cover), I’m going to link to my wife’s book: http://www.amazon.com/Hawk-Prince-Seraphim-Chronicles-ebook/dp/B00AT6GRW0/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1356718246&sr=1-1&keywords=The+Hawk+Prince

  4. I think Indies Unlimited is great, because without them I wouldn’t have had a few very talented authors on my blog! 🙂
Okay that was one and for two, I just subscribed to IU (I normally just do my blog round once a week. If I were to subscribe to all the blogs I regularly read my inbox would explode!

  5. Oh mon dieu! Late to the party again. Must stop picking up those kids from school and then cooking them meals and helping them with homework. Checking IU must become my top priority! 🙂

So, why do I love Indies Unlimited? Well, there are lots of reasons, but I think the most important reason is that IU is a place where authors get useful information about publishing and marketing and they can freely ask questions about any post and get a timely, thoughtful response. You never knew you didn’t know something until you learn about it for the first time, and here I’ve found a ton of things I never knew I didn’t know.

I have subscribed, liked on Facebook and followed on Twitter.

  6. There are so many websites out there directed towards “Indies” that I don’t usually get hooked in, but Indies Unlimited always delivers a variety of current, accurate, helpful information that helps me, the author, make the best decisions for writing and marketing my books.

    Link to book: http://www.amazon.com/Blessed-Wholly-Broken-Melinda-Clayton-ebook/dp/B00FYGVBNA/ref=la_B0046DWDLG_1_1_bnp_1_kin?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1384474183&sr=1-1

And I “liked” (loved), subscribed, and followed quite some time ago. 🙂 Thanks for all you do.

  7. I found IU over a year ago. I love reading the posts and soaking up the information like a sponge. Thank you and keep up the great work in supporting us indies. I have been subscribed for a while, have liked you on FB for ages and have also been stalking you on Twitter.

  8. We are already listed, just wanted to say thank you very much for this wonderful opportunity for many indie authors! I have shared to the world and love you guys to pieces!

  9. Indies Unlimited is great for the same reason that all groups of indie authors coming together are great: it is a reflection of the amazing things we can accomplish despite the odds when we pool our strengths together!

  10. There are several reasons I like Indies Unlimited. When I post a book on 99 Cent Thursday or Freebie Friday the book gets noticed and downloads. That is magic for an author. Here’s a fact: I was stumbling around the universe of ebooks until I landed on Indies Unlimited. I was getting so much misinformation…I come here for words of wisdom from Martin Crosbie, K.S. Brooks, Stephen Hise, Big Al and L.A. Lewandowski to name just a few of the gurus. If Big Al says you have a book–you do. Martin Crosbie’s ‘How I Sold 30,000 eBooks’ is my Bible. Stephen Hise always signs his name to an email. I know who I’m talking to. Indies Unlimited has given me the tools that put me on the path to becoming a successful ebook author. The book I would like in that coveted spot is The House on Persimmon Road. But, it’s okay if another book wins the spot. Here’s why: I learned how to manage a KDP Free ebook promotion from Indies Unlimited. The promotion is ongoing as I post this. The downloads have topped 71,367. I don’t know if that number is good, bad, average or indifferent. But, I think somebody at Indies Unlimited will tell me.

  11. I’ve done all those things so it comes to this question, I guess : How do I love thee? Thou? Youz guyz… Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height my browser can browse.

  12. Why do I love Indies Unlimited?
The answers are simple to most, but to someone like me who represents the little people who may have that ‘blond/blonde gene’, are not tech savvy, have no idea what letters like SEO have to do with marketing books, have yet to master their blogs past the ‘New Post’ stage, can write a pretty good book but can’t get the damn thing formatted afterwards, and are generally still learning this game, this blog and the people who share their knowledge are lifesavers. I have learned so much from reading the articles and tutorials. I have made new friends, found excellent authors, and read incredible books. IU is my GO-TO place.

Yeah, okay, that is WAY more than one sentence so I will understand if I don’t win. It doesn’t matter. 🙂 I want you all to know this anyway.
